Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski understands how important this game is.  “It will be an historic game,” Krzyzewski said. “The fact that Jim and I, total, have won over 1,900 games, it’s never been done. He and I talked about it this summer because we worked together the past 10 years with USA Basketball, that every time we go on the court, it will be something special.”

Duke just beat Pittsburgh and are riding a five game win streak currently.  Freshman Jabari Parker has lived up to the hype leading the team in points per game (18.8) and rebounds per game (8.1).  The Orange have an impressive freshman Tyler Ennis who has excelled in the second half of games.

With over 1,900 wins between the two head coaches tonight, it will be a chess match for these two brilliant basketball minds.  Many will expect Parker and Ennis to battle for who is the top rookie, but it will likely come down to the role players as well.  Syracuse had a great team before Ennis got there, but he has been the guy down the stretch to maintain their perfect record.  With a win tonight, Syracuse will set a new school record for the best start in school history.  Duke vs. Syracuse- who you takin?
