The New York Giants are 0-4 and have looked pathetic this season.  Almost every game has been a blowout, and the spark that fueled their 2011 Super Bowl run has faded. Yesterday, they were embarrassed again in Kansas City by a revitalized team.  Normally, special teams is one of the Giants areas of strength.  However, punter Steve Weatherford punted one directly to Dexter McCluster who evaded tackle after tackle and ran it in for a touchdown.

To make matters worse, his touchdown celebration was the salsa dance as a way to get back at Victor Cruz for celebrating in their end zone in their home stadium.  San Francisco 49ers Carlos Rogers also mocked Cruz’s dance which Cruz did not take too kindly to.  Clearly, Cruz also felt disrespected by McCluster’s attempt to mock a dance that is meant to honor his late grandmother.  Cruz took to his Twitter page to express his opinion on McCluster’s choice of touchdown celebrations:Screen shot 2013-09-30 at 11.36.24 AM

Unfortunately, these two teams do not play each other often so we will not see these two go at again.  However, Cruz did just sign a $40 million plus contract so I guess that makes him the winner in this one!
