Another matchup of two banged up teams. Â However, with how pitiful the NFC East has been, these two teams sit atop. Â They are fighting for the upper hand in an underperforming division where every win could count later on. Â The Eagles will be missing starting quarterback Michael Vick for the second straight week. Â It does not appear they miss him too much as they rolled last week behind backup Nick Foles’ three touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Â It may even be the last time Vick starts a game as an Eagle.
The Cowboys are possibly going to be without starting running back DeMarco Murray and defensive end Demarcus Ware for an extended period of time. Â The Cowboys defensive line is going to have to find a way to stop the NFL’s rushing leader LeSean McCoy. Â McCoy is having a monster year and no one has been able to slow him down yet. Â The Cowboys have the 16th ranked rushing defense so they may have some work to do.
I think the Eagles win this one and end their home losing streak. Â McCoy is having a great season and the Cowboys defense is really struggling especially without their captain Demarcus Ware. Â Foles looking really good last week and he might have earned another consideration as the starter. Â I think he continues to roll and the Cowboys lose a close one.
