Colts LB Erik Walden Attacked in Home

This is possibly the craziest story of 2015.

Indianapolis Colts linebacker Erik Walden and his current girlfriend were allegedly attacked in his Georgia home.  The attacker is allegedly the mother of Walden’s two children.  Erika Palmer, Walden’s ex-girlfriend, drove from her home in Tennessee to Georgia to confront the couple with a bat and a gun.  She was allegedly sitting on his couch waiting for the couple to get home.

When the couple tried to leave the house, Palmer was waiting for them with a knife.  She allegedly slashed Walden in the arm with the knife and broke his current girlfriend’s arm with the bat.  She has been charged with breaking into Walden’s home and aggravated assault, among other things, but Walden refused to press charges.  This is not the first time Walden and his ex-girlfriend have been in a domestic dispute.  Walden was arrested in 2011 for allegedly hitting Palmer.
