Do not expect that to happen; this game is equally as important.  Winning the AFC West means the difference between a home playoff game and an extra wildcard game.

The Chargers are currently in a three game losing streak in which they have played some very sloppy football. Too many penalties at too crucial moments.  Chargers tight end Antonio Gates has excelled against the Chiefs; he has thirteen touchdowns against Kansas City.  The Chiefs need a big game out Jamaal Charles.  He has been held to under 100 yards the past three games.

The Chargers may be in a losing streak, but they did not look bad against the Broncos.  They got a lot of pressure on Manning and will look to do the same with Smith.  However, I think the Chiefs still win this one.  The same reasons they are 9-1, are the same reasons they will win this one.  The Chiefs are one of the best defenses in the league and they do not turn the ball over.  Andy Reid will not let them look passed this game and onto next week’s big game.  He knows this game is just as important and will relay that message to his team.  Chargers vs. Chiefs- who you takin?
