NBA: Boston Celtics at Miami HeatRay Allen returns to Boston today for the first time and the Celtics could really use them back on their team.   The Heat may have the top offense in the league, but the Celtics have always had the edge at home against them.  The Celtics need this win as they have fallen three games under .500 and are barely clinging to the last playoff spot in the East.  Boston point guard has always done well against the Heat and they will need him to play that way today.  Rondo became the second player to have a triple double in back to back games and lose both.

Off the court, most people will be paying attention to Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.  It seems that Garnett wears his emotions on his sleeve and showed that when he snubbed Allen in the season opener.  Garnett is coming off a game against the Knicks in which he was also under the spotlight.  He had made some rude comments about Carmelo Anthony’s wife that resulted in Anthony waiting outside of the Celtics bus to have a talk with him.  When Garnett and Anthony saw each other again, things went off without a hitch.  The same can’t be guaranteed for Allen’s return especially in front of the TD Garden crowd.

The Heat should win this game, but the Celtics have to win eventually and end their losing streak. I think this game has all the dramatics for that to happen and for that I am picking the Celtics to win.  If this game is based on talent then the Heat win, but based off emotions, the Celtics win.  Celtics vs. Heat, who you takin?
