As Super Bowl LIV weekend comes to a close and already at the midway point for the NBA season, sports fans are looking to move their attention to Major League Baseball. In just a few weeks, 15 MLB teams will make their way down to Arizona for the 2020 Spring Training season. There are a total of ten stadiums spread out from the east to the west valley. Thousands of fans, families, and locals will be looking to watch their favorite teams and players before the regular season begins.

Spring training is time for teams to get a clear look at certain prospects and potential starters for the upcoming season. It also allows the general public to enjoy certain player interaction experiences and entertainment at a cheaper price.

Tickets range from $8 – $88 with parking from free – $14. It’s a steal all in itself while under the sunny blue skies of Arizona. However, a good time doesn’t stop there.  Many parks have special offers and promotions. Certain ballparks have multiple game-saving packages, discounts for seniors and military, as well as happy hour specials, fan appreciation giveaway days and firework night games.

While during the regular season, trying to meet your favorite players for an autograph is slim to none.  Spring training allows fans to get memorabilia signed in multiple places during the 33-day span. Whether it’s before games or after, at the stadiums or at the team’s practice facilities, you can find baseball’s biggest stars. Fans are able to watch, take pictures and have pieces signed with no extra cost.

In-game activities, famous races and 7th inning stretches are still a huge and important part of each game day production. As thousands of new fans flush through the gates each day, the ballparks’ capacities range from 10,000 – 15,000 fans; with no fan being too far from the on-field excitement.

Opening Day weekend will start Friday, February 21st. The premiere game will be the Texas Rangers facing off against the Kansas City Royals at the Surprise Stadium. For more information on all the stadiums, teams and tickets head over to https://cactusleague.com
