Apparently, the former point guard has a major problem with alcohol that stops him from being a good parent. The judge in the Iverson divorce battle cites specific examples including Allen leaving his daughter in a hotel room with men her mother did not know and leaving all the children together without any supervision.
His ex-wife, Tawanna, was awarded sole physical custody of the five children. Allen was awarded visitation rights on the conditions that he attends AA meetings, does not drink alcohol for the next 18 months, and does not consume alcohol within 24 hours before seeing his children until they all turn 18. Wow, how far this one time super star has fallen.
