As if the NFC North was not the most interesting division race in football, it just got even more interesting. Â The Bears-Packers game is a win and you’re in game and now Green Bay has the upper hand. Â After their season looked lost with the injury to quarterback Aaron Rodgers, they managed to keep their season afloat with quarterbacks Scott Tolzien, Seneca Wallace, and Matt Flynn. Â Now, they get their MVP back.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy made the announcement this afternoon that the quarterback would return to action this Sunday. Â McCarthy also commented that his quarterback has been eager to play for weeks. Â It was reported earlier that Rodgers had taken all the first team reps today in practice which was already an encouraging sign. Â He has been sidelined since November 4th after taking a hit by Chicago’s defensive end Shea McClellin.
