The former Patriots tight end has finally broken his silence. Â Since being arrested for first-degree murder of his friend Odin Lloyd, Aaron Hernandez had been silent on the issue. Â Finally, a letter has emerged from Hernandez showing that he appears to be in good spirits and believes he is innocent. Â TMZ confirms the letter is from Hernandez and that it was addressed to a former inmate named Karl. Â In the letter, Hernandez asks his friend not to put it on social media, so he sold it to TMZ. Â Hernandez really knows how to keep good company!
He goes on to write that this experience has “humbled” him and that “everything happens for a reason”. Â He calls himself a “great person” as well. Â Hernandez signs the letter like he would an autograph saying “Can’t wait to sign this again when I’m playing again”. Â It is good to see Hernandez believe in his innocence because not many do. Â He set to appear in court for a probable cause hearing later this month.
