Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has formally been indicted on six charges by the grand jury. Â One of those charges includes first-degree murder in the death of his friend Odin Lloyd. Â Members of Lloyd’s family are in the court room wearing pins in support of Lloyd. Â Hernandez is in court right now. Â He has been held in county jail without bail.
Hernandez was arrested back in June on first degree murder and multiple weapons charges. Â The former tight end pled not guilty on all counts. Â Lloyd was found shot to death near Hernandez’s home in Massachusetts. Â His next hearing will be on Friday to allow for the prosecution to respond to the defense’s two motions presented today.
