Aaron Hernandez may feel that the entire world is against him, but he does have one person still on his side.  Snoop Dogg, who now goes by Snoop Lion posted a picture of Hernandez and himself with the caption “Keep ya head up !! We prayn 4 ya”.

Screen shot 2013-07-05 at 12.05.46 PMSnoop has been in Hernandez’s shoes. In 1993 Snoop was charged with murder when his bodyguard, McKinley Lee, shot and killed a rival gang member.  Lee was acquitted based on grounds of self-defense.  Snoop was also acquitted, but during a traffic stop four year later he was found to be in possession of a handgun.

However, this is quite a contradiction of “Snoop Lion”.  Since joining the Rastafarian movement, Snoop has been against violence and his latest song is titled “No Guns Allowed”.  Snoop has always been a controversial figure and this is only adding to it.  However, we should all be praying for the family of Odin Lloyd instead.
