Sunday Night Football brings us a very possible Super Bowl matchup. The New England Patriots are arguably the best offense in the NFL and the San Francisco 49ers are arguably the best defense in the NFL. However, the Patriots defense has made huge strides from a squad that was once laughed at. Tom Brady is having yet another MVP-type year, making unbelievable plays that show why he is one of the best ever to play.
The 49ers have had some controversy at the quarterback position, but seem to have found a young quarterback that can pass and run the ball effectively in Colin Kaepernick. The Patriots have been almost unstoppable, including a stomping of the Houston Texans on Monday and I just think that even though this is a great defense, Tom Brady is better.
