In a free agency move that no one saw coming, Super Bowl champion Anquan Boldin has been traded to the team he beat in the big game. Â The guy who once claimed that if he did not play for Baltimore he would retire, is now part of San Francisco. Â So how much did it cost the 49ers to acquire the guy who can catch pretty much anything? Â Not a first round pick, not even a second round pick, but a SIXTH round pick. Â That is such an insult to a guy who basically won the Super Bowl MVP title for Joe Flacco. Â The Ravens should be ashamed of themselves for mishandling a guy of this level. Â While this is still a business, this is the guy who Flacco “elite”. Â Without him, I am not sure this offense will be as dominant. Â As for San Francisco, they just elevated themselves. Â They made this trade only hours after the Seahawks announced that they had acquired receiver Percy Harvin. Â It seems like the NFC West is the division to beat this year. Â Such a shame how poorly the Ravens handled this situation after drastically overpaying Flacco.
