So, for #31 I give you the touchdown-interception thing that finally brought the real NFL referees back.  It was only the third week of the NFL, but already there was so much drama.  However, this time it had little to do with the players and more to do with the people who were in charge of keeping the game fair and the players safe.  Well, when the real referees went on strike, the guys they got to fill the void, well to be honest, sucked.  It all came to a head during Monday Night Football in which the Packers played the Seahawks.  The Seahawks were down six and quarterback Russell Wilson threw a ‘Hail Mary’ pass into the end zone to receiver Golden Tate.  Both he and Green Bay safety M.D. Jennings went up for the ball and it looked like Jennings had a handle on the ball, but Tate managed to get his fingers on it as well.  However, it looked like a game-ending interception to almost everyone tuning into the game., but the replacement refs called it a touchdown.  While, NFL officials came out and said that the referee who made the call was right and stood behind him, Roger Goodell knew it was time to get serious and bring back the real referees.  By the next week, the real refs were back and life was back to normal.  However, this was one of those moments that will always be remembered in sports history.
