The 2016 NHL All-Star Fan voting has officially begun.  Voting has opened worldwide, giving hockey fans the opportunity to cast their votes to determine the four All-Star Captains for the 2016 NHL Honda All-Star Game on Jan. 31.

The new format for the upcoming All-Star Game will have players divided into four teams representing each division, competing in a three-game format, played in this season’s overtime 3-on-3 format.

Hockey fans will have the opportunity to cast up to 10 ballots a day to vote for their favorite players in each division. Each player ballot page features the player’s position, team, real-time statistics, and video highlights.

The ballot page will also include a leaderboard of the top vote-receivers, as well as trending players. Vote totals are to be tallied every Tuesday.

To vote or your favorite players, visit NHL.com/Vote or through the official NHL mobile app. Facebook and Twitter users will also be able to share their votes after submitting their ballots and can also invite friends to vote.  Follow the action on twitter the vote’s official hashtag, #NHLAllStar.
