It is always nice to see crosstown rivals Yankees and Mets working together! Unfortunately, the reason is not a happy one.  Someone had the audacity to rob the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center in Montclair, NJ.  Many priceless items were stolen, unable to ever be replaced.

The Mets and Yankees, however, are trying to replace some of the stolen items.  Both teams plan to have exact replicas made of the stolen items to be donated to the museum.  The museum also announced, “In addition, they also are donating several new items to our existing collection, ensuring that the museum will be an even better place for fans to visit in honor of Yogi’s legacy.”

How can you break into the Yogi Berra museum?  That is not a true baseball fan, but a true jerk. Essex County has upped the reward to $15,000 for anyone with information leading to an arrest of the person/persons responsible for this despicable crime.
