One of the NHL’s former biggest party boys, Tyler Seguin has been having a pretty fun summer, staying in shape for the season, actually having a fan bring him In-N-Out and also playing football? Tyler Seguin…a football player, who knew?

On Tuesday, Seguin posted a video to his Twitter page of him playing football. The video’s roughly ten seconds long, but it gives a flash of what Seguin can do. In case you’re wondering, this wasn’t Seguin goofing around, he actually does this to become better at hockey. This drill helps him to become smoother and faster out on the ice along with helping to strengthen his legs.

The thing that is really getting people’s attention though is the caption that Seguin put on the video. The Stars center wrote, “Just incase the @dallascowboys need me in Texas this year” which could have been a tempting offer for the Cowboys if they didn’t already have Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley and Terrance Williams. Overall, if the Cowboys needed him, Seguin would make a pretty good fourth-round draft pick and maybe even make the Cowboys roster. If not, then maybe he should just stick to his day job as a hockey player because being the 5th highest scoring player in the NHL isn’t too bad either.

You can take a look at Seguin’s skills and judge for yourself!
