Congrats are in order for two of the New York Giants players!! Defensive tackle Rocky Bernard is now a father to a baby boy. He was born over the weekend while his father was busy shutting out the Atlanta Falcons. However, he was not the only one who added a new addition to his family.
Victor Cruz, the hometown hero wide receiver, and his girlfriend Elaina Watley welcomed a little baby girl, Kennedy, on Monday. “It’s been an amazing feeling, and I can’t wait to raise her and teach her all the good stuff,” Cruz told Fox 5. “Every time I’m out there, I’m out there running around for her and catching the ball for her, so she’s always on my mind.” Cruz joked that minutes after she was born, he busted out into his now famous salsa dance.
He admitted to watching film in the hospital while waiting for Elaina to go into labor in preparation for Big Blue’s meet against Green Bay this Sunday. Cruz was back at practice on Wednesday. Again, congrats to both of these guys. Let’s hope they make their little angels proud this Sunday!
