What a week it has been for the Baltimore Ravens.  It is one they would definitely like to forget and nothing would mean more than a win over rival Pittsburgh.  Somehow Joe Flacco and the Ravens will have to put aside all that has been going on and welcome in the Steelers.  These two teams have a lot of history and hatred for one another which should make for a tough and physical game.

The Ravens would have been without Ray Rice regardless of the tape being released on Monday or not and will have Bernard Pierce and Justin Forsett handle the backfield tonight.  Pierce fumbled last week and was benched immediately after which means the Ravens will likely use Forsett a lot tonight.

However, the Ravens offense relied heavily on the arm of Joe Flacco last week and will likely have to again this week.  His receivers did not help their quarterback after dropping six of his passes. The Steelers defense allowed the Browns to come back and tie the game after being down by 24 points. The Steelers were able to get the victory, but the team looked shaky at best.

Both of these team’s are coming off games they would like to forget.  Linebacker and leader Terrell Suggs said the team will not focus on the drama going on around them, “It’s a short week, fortunately for us.  We get to look at [Sunday’s loss] real quick, throw it away and move on to our rivals.”  The Ravens definitely do not want to fall to the dreaded 0-2, but they have a lot working against them.  The Ravens do play at home which could hopefully help this team focus on football and not the headlines because when these two teams meet it is usually a great game! Who can forget the last time these two teams met was on Thanksgiving when Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin infamously tried to trip Jacoby Jones as he ran along the sideline?  Steelers vs. Ravens- who you takin?
