screen-shot-2015-11-26-at-10-21-39-pmPackers fans adored Brett Favre and lasr night they got to show their adoration in the “House That Favre Built”.   It was Thanksgiving and no one seemed more thankful to be in Green Bay than Brett Favre. During halftime, the game looked like it was all about the Packers. Before Favre could make his appearance at Green Bay, though, he teased his fans with a video that he posted to his Twitter.

In addition to Favre making an appearance, many of his former teammates were there to greet the quarterback as the jersey was unveiled on the wall of Lambeau. The stadium was completely consumed in “4” flags and banners, all thanking and congratulating Favre on his achievement. Even though Favre’s ceremony was relatively short, he did give a small speech, thanking the Packers organization, his teammates, his family and most notably the fans but the greatest moment had to be when the Packers were able to bring back one of Favre’s idols, former Green Bay quarterback, Bart Starr.

At the age of 81, it was unclear if Starr would make the trip to Green Bay, but much to the delight of the crowd and to Favre, they were able to share a special moment on the field. Starr looked happy to share in the moment and seeing Starr was definitely the highlight of Favre’s night. Although the Packers would eventually end up beaten by the Bears at 17-13, Favre still had to feel like he was on top of the world. Congrats to Brett Favre!
