The Cowboys may have won the game, but rookie receiver Odell Beckham won the respect of everyone last night  Anyone who has watched the Giants this season knew this kid was a special talent.  He gave Richard Sherman, the self-proclaimed best corner in the league, a run for his money when the Giants travelled to Seattle a few weeks back. His warmups include one-handed catches and vertical jumps that would make NBA players blush.

Making his Sunday Night Football debut, Beckham shined throughout the first quarter, but it was an absolutely astonishing touchdown catch at the beginning of the second quarter that caught everyone’s attention. A ball that Beckham has no business catching, especially after being held by Dallas cornerback Brandon Carr.  The catch was so incredible, fellow teammate Victor Cruz tweeted it was the best catch he has ever seen!  Multiple athletes tweeted their admiration for Beckham including Lebron James and Richard Sherman.  You know the catch was good when the infamous David Tyree catch in Super Bowl 42 gets mentioned!

Giants fans may not have much to smile about this season, but with Cruz coming back they will have an impressive receiving corps.  Beckham received the ultimate sign of respect during the second half of the game, getting double covered.
