Mo’ne Davis has become the star of the Little League World Series.  She has a wicked 70 MPH fastball and is only the fourth American girl to appear in the Little League World Series.   Davis has had such dominant performances Clayton Kershaw and Nolan Ryan would have to tip their caps.  In her last two outings, Davis has two shutouts with fourteen strikeouts and has allowed just FIVE hits!  Some major league team could use her in their rotation!

She has caught the eye of the some of the biggest athletes, including Mike Trout and Larry Fitzgerald who tweeted about the young star.Screen Shot 2014-08-16 at 12.25.36 PMScreen Shot 2014-08-16 at 12.26.55 PMThe 13-year-old pitching phenom has helped her Philadelphia little league team to two victories.  Her teammates have embraced her and have become her protectors.  However, she is not just athletic, but she is also smart.  She is an honor-roll student at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy  She also has expressed interest in playing college basketball.
