Johnny Manziel has been everywhere despite only being in the NFL for a few months. Now he makes his debut in commercials and of course it will likely be aired on ESPN every hour, on the hour.
Johnny Manziel teams up with Snickers as a part of the “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” campaign. During the commercial, Manziel plays an aerobic instructor named “Johnny JamBoogie” until a teammate, who looks older than his father, comes in to give him a Snickers bar. It is a very lighthearted commercial that ESPN will try to analyze and look for the deeper meaning.
Manziel talked about his experience filming the commercial,”It was a thrill to star in my own ‘You’re Not You When You’re Hungry’ commercial because it allowed me some funny version of myself that I might become when I’m hungry. I hope people have as much fun watching the ad as we did filming it.”
Expect to see a lot more commercials with Johnny Football. He has deals with Nike, Nissan, and McDonalds.
