One of the last two free agent pitchers this offseason has officially been taken off the market. This afternoon Edwin Jackson signed with the Washington Nationals. It is a one year deal for the ten-year veteran. He is coming off a big year in which he went 12-9 for both the Chicago White Sox and reigning World Series champs St. Louis Cardinals. He was 5-2 for the Cards including 1-1 with 5.60 ERA in the postseason. Jackson joins a Washington rotation that includes Stephen Strausburg, Gio Gonzalez, and Jordan Zimmerman.
