The regular season is winding down and teams are getting ready for the playoffs.  The NBA has scheduled one final Eastern Conference showdown right before the regular season officially comes to an end.  Both the Heat and the Pacers have struggled recently, but it is the Pacers who need this win more than anything.

The Pacers got off to a flaming hot start, but over the last few weeks, they have looked like a team who has no business being in the playoffs. Head coach Frank Vogel rested all five starters this week in Milwaukee to see if that would help break their funk.  Playing the Heat should help revitalize this team, however, for some reason this team always plays their beat against Miami .

The Heat have struggled because they have relied on superstar Lebron James to do absolutely everything.  It is likely James will have to play Superman once again tonight with the Heat announcing Dwyane Wade will not play.   For the first time in his career, James looks exhausted, but who can blame him.  He has been carrying this team with lots of his teammates needing days off.

Both of these teams need a win, but Indiana has more to prove.  The Heat know how to turn it on for the playoffs.  The Pacers, however, have made a lot of people doubt them with their recent lack of enthusiasm on the court.  The Pacers need to pick it up now or they could be bounced out of the playoffs early.  Heat vs. Pacers- who you takin?
