bracketsOf course I had to write about brackets. Everyone and their mother is on the fun of picking the winner! I have been trying to catch as many games as humanly possible and to me the title is still up for grabs. This is best part about sports; the drama, the excitement, and the unknown. Yes, normally when you have 1-16 matchups those are obvious choices, but what about the 8-9 matchups or the 7-10s?

We have already witnessed some of the biggest upsets with Vanderbilt exposing Kentucky, Florida State proving its significance in the ACC, as well as Syracuse not winning the Big East. So who is the actual favorite? I would definitely say John Calipari’s bunch, but we saw that they too can be beaten. I would also say that the dark horse, not so much anymore, would be Florida State. Beat both Duke and UNC twice in one year cannot just be due to luck. This is an extremely talented and athletic team with a great defensive style of play.

I think that UNC will definitely advance, but how far they actually go will depend if Hensen is able to come back and play as well as he has been his whole college career. I am going to predict the Final Four as: Kentucky, Florida State, UNC, and Michigan State. The final game being: Michigan State vs. Florida State with Michigan State coming out on top.
